Gateway Village is a new housing community
being planned in the southern sector of Colorado’s ski resort area, about 20 minutes south of Copper Mountain and just north of the town of Leadville on all-weather Highway 91.
The primary target market for these homes is (a) middle-income local workers in Summit, Eagle, and Lake counties that do not need to live at the base of the lifts, (b) other workers from anywhere whose jobs are not location-constrained, (c) retirees, and (d) second homeowners. A secondary target market is renters/buyers needing low-income assistance. Using several cost-saving techniques, including a location where land values have not been driven sky-high because of the affluent second-home market, the Gateway Village development team believes it can deliver this housing to the marketplace at prices significantly below the current market-rate.
By completing this application, you will both (a) guide the development team on the right mix of housing types and (b) place you in the queue for housing in Gateway Village. There is no cost to complete this application and no requirement to rent/buy a home. Below is a menu on the expected housing options planned for Gateway Village. The apartments are for rent and the townhomes are for sale. A future phase of Gateway Village will offer single family custom homes.
